Mr Olusola Bolomope was born in Ibadan to the late Pa Yesufu Agbogunleri Bolomope of the Agbogunleri's compound, Isale'Jebu. His father was one of the very trusted confidants of the first Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abbass Aleshinloye and later became the Baale of Sore Village near Araromi- Akanran where he was a very successful cocoa farmer. His mother was the late Alhaja Olatorera Abeni, well known as Iya Olounje, Iya oni cocoa from Odi Odeyale village in the present Ona Ara local government. He started his primary school education at the Anglican Central School, Araromi Village and later attended both Olumo Primary School, Abeokuta ; Army Children School, Mokola,Ibadan and St Joseph Catholic School, Benin City. He attended Islamic High School, Orita Bashorun for his secondary school education before proceeding to the University of Ife, Ile Ife where he earned his Bachelors degree in 1986.
